Traffic Jam

Fuzzy, buzzy, trash and no star. Boston’s Black Beach waste no time in bringing the wastoid sunspot vibes on their 4-track EP Giallo.

The title might be a reference to a subgenre of horror film, stylishly cheap Italian gore. The cover of the album is a bit ghastly, but it fits the sound. Think Primus on nitrous oxide, fed through a meat grinder.

Our highlighted track “Traffic Jam” has that Jon Spencer Blues Explosion stank. No apologies, no second takes, no faking the funk.
