Spirit

Windsor’s The Blue Stones advertise as alt-rock meets blues-rock, which is about right. HDN prefers the blues end of the spectrum, so we’ve highlighted “Spirit” off Hidden Gems. It cooks with some hevvy blooz riffing – you could see this track blowing up into a 10-minute barnburner live.

Shades of The Black Keys, though most of the songwriting leans into the poppier, alt-rock regions, invoking the spirit of Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty more than Bukka White.

Shout out to the sweet cotton candy edition (sold out) of Hidden Gems - maybe you can pick one up at the live show?
