Big Thief: “All Night All Day”

An introduction for a band that needs no introduction. At some point when you weren’t looking (because it was during the pandemic) Big Thief became the indie band that everyone could agree on. A band for every occasion, without turning into a nothing band for nobody.
Our highlighted track “All Night All Day” showcases Adrianne Lenker’s warbly voice, Buck Meek’s warbly guitar, and, presumably, James Krivchenia’s warbly drums.
Founding bassist Max Oleartchik left the band in 2024, eh? Was that an amicable separation? Hard to fathom leaving a band whose current and projected royalties will set you up for life. But life has to follow its own path. God bless. Off Double Infinity. Via 4AD.
