Neptune: “#40”

Homemade instruments sending up a cloud of experimental noise. Neptune brings a heavy drone to our highlighted track “#40.” Kind of like a vacuum cleaner making love to Rosey the Robot from The Jetsons. This is all about the textures: crunchy, crackly, slippery, slimy, tip your waiter, all the timey. The Boston-based noisemakers have been doing it their way at least as far back as MCMXCVII. Shout out to my Roman numeral homies. Off #39 / #40. Via Wrong Way Archival Bureau.
