Lightheaded: “Bright Happy Girls”

Sparkle, sparkle, dog day indie rawk outta New Jersey. I see you, New Jersey! I should probably just hold my horses and wait to write up a track off lightheaded’s latest album, Thinking, Dreaming, Scheming!, scheduled to drop at the end of June. But I’ve had this LP Combustible Gems on my to-do list for a while, so let’s hit it. Our highlighted track “Bright Happy Girls” has a real light touch, easy breezy rock n roll that feels like it spilled out of Lou Reed’s guitar. Group vocals give the execution a party atmosphere.
