Slow Coyote

Slow Coyote
The conga-forward rock n folk three-piece Slow Coyote come from Lowell, or met in Lowell, or have some sort of connection to Lowell, AKA Mill City. The band is outfitted with one acoustic strummer, who spun a sticky web of mythology about the band’s genesis, and two conga players, making for a real change of pace from the standard three- or four-piece punk rock outfits you normally see populating the backroom of the Silhouette Lounge. Kind of a tropical Nirvana vibe.
The Makeshift Kings

The Makeshift Kings
Shoutout to the drummer of The Makeshift Kings, who arrived late because he was still looking for parking. Remember: don’t park in the Burger King lot, they will tow you. The band kicked out a bouncy indie rock vibe, mixing originals like “Loser” and covers like the White Stripes’ “Fell In Love With A Girl.”
Wulver

Wulver
The mood turned metal with closer Wulver, a deathy, doomy, sludgy trio that just released a three-song demo in June.
