Collignon: “Bicicleta”

Is that a Beatles hook? Or maybe John Lennon? Damn if I can’t place the first few bars of Collignon’s title track “Bicicleta.” If you recognize it, let me know in the comments. Wherever the lead motif is from, it’s just an excuse for the band to launch into the atmosphere of world rhythms with a light Mediterranean flavor. A little psych to boot. Like the image salad video, the song doesn’t go anywhere in particular. But maybe it’s supposed to remind you of the pure joy of riding a bicycle, no destination required. Off Bicicleta.
