Illingsworth: “IV Drip”
Written By Michael Gutierrez

An easy, breezy hip hop instrumental with a touch of glitch. Our highlighted track is “IV DRIP,” off the 3-song EP next steps by Detroit’s Illingsworth. Shout out to the cheese grater on the cover. His other album covers take as subjects the following: a bunch of garbage bags in the corner, a picture of a cloudy sky, a closeup of floral patterned pajamas, the side of a city building, etc. In other words, he’s shooting random shit with his camera phone inside the house or a 5-minute walk from his front step. No fuss, no muss. You’ve got to respect the shrug emoji aesthetic.
