MK Naomi: “Wasserland”

Jangly pop roxxx with a little bit of “teen drama credit sequence theme” shimmy. MK Naomi is trying to dig themselves out of a hole on our highlighted track “Wasserland.” Are they not taking their meds? Or are they just clocking that our present political hellscape is standing on business? SIx of one, half a dozen of the other. The Boston-based band has three more tracks off their four-track EP Dream Hiss to climb out of that hole. But the last song is titled “Choking Hazard” so like the Magic 8-Ball says, “Outlook not so good.”
