A driving, electro popper with lush and lusty New Wave vocals. It’s Spider Water, straight outta Cambridge. Late night club vampery with danceable beats and washes of synth. Shades of The Killers in search of a killer hook. It sounds like there is a subtle narrative unfolding in the lyrical passages, but who wants to suss out the nuance when the energy is building towards one of those dancehall drops? Off the their latest album Exit Plan. EP or LP? Right on that line. The record release show is Saturday, October 12 at Regent Theatre.
