Our highlighted track “Sellout City” by The Medium tells the classic story about a band that blows up, becomes intolerable, and loses its soul in the midst of material success. It’s a cliche at this point – quaint even – you can hardly recite the tale without a wink of the eye. But the clean, full, sparkling tones of the song don’t betray any disingenuousness.
