A guitar picker who plays like a new day dawning. The notion occurred to me while listening to our highlighted track “Sisters” by Yasmin Williams. And then I noticed that she dropped a release back in 2023 titled “Dawning.” So she realized about herself: “Hey, my playing kind of sounds like a new day is dawning.” Which is fabulous. Because the dawn of a new day is exactly what we could use right now. Off the full-length Acadia, which includes gobs of wonderful cameos such as a cool contribution from Immanuel Wilkins.
