BabyBaby_Explores: “Pants”

Funny combination, this band BabyBaby_Explores from Providence. Sounds like our highlighted track “Pants” (and their other streamable track on Bandcamp “Twiddle”) could’ve been recorded in a bedroom. It’s goofy “Saturday night with GarageBand and no place to go”-type lyrical vamping over a synth beat. And yet it works. And you’ve got to see and hear the band live (like at Fuzzstival) to get this band that makes who knows what look easy. Often times what gets recorded in the bedroom should stay in the bedroom. But not with BabyBaby_Explores’ “Pants”. You didn’t hear it here first.
