Dalton Moon: “Too Much At Night”

A pop song off the pop album. OK, what did you expect? But the real question is what kind of pop does Worcester’s Dalton Moon deliver because there are about 3,001 subvarieties of the genre under the sun. And a few more in the shadows. Our highlighted track “Too Much At Night” is a bright, bouncy number with just a touch of grit in its gullet. Just a touch – otherwise this is pure throwback Beatles-inspired 60s boy band rock. You know, the types of bands late in the decade that wore matching outfits until they dropped acid one day and just all went their separate directions. Shades of MMOSS, Doug Tuttle, and a healthy serving of bands on Trouble In Mind Records.
