Hereboy: “Chosen One”

A soft strummer that transforms into a medium tempo, acoustic-driven popper. Hereboy can bring the traditional indie rock trio sound of electric guitar, bass, and drums. Our highlighted track “Chosen One” charts a gentler path, and leans hard into a catchy refrain. Introspective lyrics abound; the feeling that we’ve let someone down, or they’ve let us down, is pervasive. The soft synth whistling in the background dulls some of the sting, but melancholy is a feature, not a flaw. Via Happen Twice Records.
