Keegan James Blood: “Tell Me”

Alt country meditations on contemporary topics in everyday vernacular. That’s what I associate with Keegan James Blood. He loves the country textures – the acoustic guitar, standup bass, steel pedal, and more – but he doesn’t confine himself within the sometimes asphyxiating dimension of country symbology. In other words, he goes other places and talks about other things than honky tonk bars. Reminds me of Sheryl Crow’s angle in that respect. Our highlighted track “Tell Me” comes off a two-song release Lost near Gallatin.
