Taxidermists: “Grow Up”

Throwback lofi. Most of indie rock, live and recorded, used to sound something like the garage-meets-bedroom pop of Taxidermists on our highlighted track “Grow Up.” It was the age of the 4-track. Real recording equipment was too expensive, so a lot of bands just made do with the cheap stuff. But things changed. Digital tech raised the quality floor of DIY recording and the basic equipment required to do it is affordable for almost anyone without a pricey drug habit. To sound like the Taxidermists in 2025 is a choice. Life is full of choices. Off 20247. Via Danger Collective Records.
