Book learning isn’t dead. The video for The Collect Pond’s single “Cemetery Man” begins with the bassist and keyboardist digging into an occult volume, presumably describing the How-To on bringing the dead back to life.
If you’ve ever seen the movie Pet Sematary, then you’re familiar with some basic reasons why a person would want to accomplish that feat and why it’s not advisable.
In any event, the lead singer of the band is reanimated and joins up with the trio to perform some pop punk. He seems content with the outcome, but the hammer is going to fall at some point when he starts to get hungry for brains. Via Candlepin Records.
