Nakama: “Æ-b”

Our highlighted track “Æ-b” is what Elon & Grimes’ newborn would have been called if Sagittarius was in the second house, rather than the third, on the day of its birth. No matter. The billionaire couple can still use Nakama’s LP New World to dream about the day they will leave behind the cursed poors on planet Earth and become king and queen of Mars.

The monarchical arrangement is a world away from what Nakama Records is trying to accomplish as quasi-collective organization of musicians that make records based on egalitarian principles of mutual respect for each other’s musical adventures.

Or maybe not – wasn’t Grimes reading the Communist Manifesto the other day, week, month? “Maybe Grimes and her space baby should join up with Nakama gang to go musical Fight Club all over the Twitter King’s ass” is something that someone who is not this writer would write.
