Blue Lights Bandits: “Block Party”

It’s the season for block parties. Are they all going to be as funky as the “Block Party” that Blue City Bandits are laying down? Probably not; but if free hot dogs and hamburgers are on offer, it’s a win. The bandits from Worcester want to turn “strangers into neighbors.” I’m all for it. Hopefully high real estate prices haven’t threatened the long cherished tradition of block parties. I mean, if you can’t afford to buy a house and set down roots, there’s less incentive to build community when you might be moving by the end of the current lease. Let’s stay optimistic. Fire up the BBQ, Eugene!
