Constellation Myths: “Spare Room”

Americana soul with an alt rock touch. The melody from Constellation Myths speaks with a lush, wide-open Heartland kind of feel. You know, fields of wheat rustling in the wind. But the tone of the mix is just a little too pointed to pass as pure mewlings from middle America and the complex vocal arrangements of the coda elevates our highlighted track “Spare Room” out of the folk tradition and into something like chamber pop. An auspicious first look at the forthcoming Cost of Living album, due in July.
