Push Back: “Karen Read”

There are probably 25 different new local punk bands that named themselves Karen Read in 2024. No shit, at least. Settle for a song named “Karen Read” by Push Back. Though the tape cover art suggests the title is “Karen Is An Op”? Not a cop at any rate. An ode to an odious affair in the Commonwealth. A topical and timely contribution to the ACAB comment board discourse, though I struggle to exalt Karen Read as a feminist hero just because she was screwed over by a fraternity of cops.
