Seawind of Battery: “New Moon”
Written By Michael Gutierrez

A minimalist folk builder. What does Seawind of Battery build our highlighted track “New Moon” into? Not quite maximalism, but a thicker, creamier, sudsy head of psych rock at the climax anyway. Shades of world beat in the rhythmic choices and glazy repetition. The longest song on the album at over eight minutes. The band out of (where are they out of?) are taking their time, and you should too. Off East Coast Cosmic Dreamscaper. Via WarHen Records.
