Somergloom 2024
August 22-24, 2024 at The Armory

O, Gloom! O, Darkness! O, Melancholy!

Somergloom returned for its fourth year. In 2024 the Faustian festival took the stage at The Armory in Somerville. Two nights of full bills, plus a little appetizer prelude on the first night with Kira McSpice.
The festival headliners Big Brave and Royal Thunder capped an impressively curated lineup that found different ways to explore the idea of “heavy” music. As it has in previous years, performances bounced between the main stage and the more intimate cafe interior of Rooted in the front of the house.
Hump Day News covered Friday (8/23) and Saturday (8/24), swimming through the veils of darkness to bring all the best action to light. In many ways, we’re heroes.
