Yoko Miwa Trio

Yoko Miwa Trio
Yoko Miwa Trio performed a spirited set in advance of the impending tidal wave…
Friday night – every Friday night? – the Andy Voelker open jam session comes to The Mad Monkfish. By 10:01 PM about half the student body of Berklee College of Music had poured into the club, instruments in hand, eyeing the stage…
Not a bad gimmick, if you can get some of them to buy drinks.
Saxophonist Andy Voelker is a Berklee alum himself, so he was among his people, and he probably felt a little like a big brother, or weird uncle, herding all the young and wide-eyed hopefuls into their allotted slot for a chance to shine.
Jam on!
