Our highlighted track “Staff Picks” by Thought Partner brings a Devo-mindset to lines like “I repeat / a wealth of platitudes / as I eat / my fast food.” Doesn’t quite rhyme, but it’s got a kind of flat-faced wit that you could see David Byrne enjoying.
