Linnea’s Garden
Linnea’s Garden performed alt rock shenanigans in the opening slot.
What’s it like to warm up the room for a film screening? Almost everyone is locked into their seat, though there were a few brave souls that made their way to the front lip of the stage like this was a real concert. Because it was a real concert! But the film aspect is kind of a fake out. People aren’t quite sure they’re allowed to live, move, breathe, etc., like they’re used to at a more conventional concert.
Did Linnea’s Garden play songs off their latest EP Looking forward to the moment? “Chaotic Bisexual Summer” got some play for sure…

Battlemode
Battlemode sneaking in a gig before Boston Bitdown in early March. “Radius clause” is not a term in the chiptune band’s lexicon. If you ever want to get neck deep into a dialogue about the concept of radius clauses, talk to the owner at Union Tavern. He’s fascinated by the topic.
